500 Holley Carburetor Specs

The Holley Performance Products company, based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, manufactures and repairs the Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor as part of its full lineup of street performance, racing, specialty and marine carburetors. Holley carburetors are prominently known for their use by the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing, Inc. (NASCAR). The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor can be installed in Ford, Chrysler and General Motors factory engines.

Features

    The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor is controlled by a manual choke. The carburetor features a 50-cc accelerator pump, and is suitable for street racing and officially sanctioned, oval-track racing organizations like NASCAR. The Holley 500 features one timed spark port, one full vacuum port and one PCV port. The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor is not compatible with automatic overdrive transmissions.

Specifications

    The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor has a primary metering jet rating of 73. The pump discharge nozzle has a rating of 0.028, and a power valve rating of 50. The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor is 12.250 inches in length, 11 inches in width and 7.5 inches in height.

Modifications

    The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor can be further modified with the application of several optional parts, including a Chrysler throttle lever extension, an electric choke, a manual choke control cable, a de-choke linkage, a jet kit and a Ford automatic transmission bracket kit. The Holley 500 Two Barrel carburetor can be used to modify Ford, Chrysler and General Motors factory engines.
