Chevrolet is the manufacturer of the Camaro, a two-door sports car. Instructions

You can install a windshield on your 1973 Camaro with the help of a friend. Chevrolet introduced the Camaro to North America in 1967 as a competitor to Fords Mustang. The windshield keeps the roof from collapsing during an accident. It also helps keep you from being thrown from the vehicle. To do this job, you need some supplies that can be found at most auto parts stores. To save money, call your local auto wrecking yard to see whether it has any 1973 Camaro windshields in good condition.
Instructions
1 Fit a gasket around the new windshield. Make sure the slit on the gasket will be facing the outside of the Camaro once the windshield has been installed.
2 Run a line of sealant along the half channel all around the gasket.
3 Wipe some petroleum jelly into the gaskets outer groove, adding some extra to the top and bottom center of the gasket. Line a nylon cord around the outer groove starting at the bottom center of the gasket. Leave a piece of cord at the start and end point.
4 Put on your work gloves, and have your helper put on work gloves. Together, put the windshield into the windshield frame from outside the vehicle. Push the nylon cords into the Camaro so they are resting on the dashboard.
5 Pull one cord out and around the frame to pull the gaskets lip inside the car. At the same time, have your helper press the gasket onto the outside edge of the windshield frame.
6 Allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours before driving.

The 1989 Chevrolet Camaro is part of the prestigious lines fourth generation. It features modern fuel injection and is lighter than previous generations of Camaro. When the vehicle breaks down and needs to be moved, it should be towed on a flatbed tow truck. Towing the 1989 Camaro on two wheels will damage the drive shaft and the tow chains will chip and crack the body.
Instructions
1 Adjust the steering wheel so that the front wheels point straight forward.
2 Pull the tow vehicle directly in front of the Camaro with enough room to lower the tow bed. Lower the tow bed so that it reaches the ground about 3 feet in front of the car.
3 Attach winch hooks to the front of the frame. Place towels between the tow chain and the Camaro body to prevent scratching and chipping. Place the hooks an equal distance from both ends of the frame to ensure a level pull.
4 Place the transmission in neutral. Winch the Camaro onto the tow bed slowly. Make small adjustments with the steering wheel to control the direction, and stop with the car in the exact center of the tow bed.
5 Place the transmission in park and set the parking brake. Strap the wheels and frame to the tow bed in the appropriate manner, depending on the model of flatbed tow truck being used.

The headlight switch on a 1991 Camaro RS is located on the plastic housing surrounding the instrument cluster. This switch controls the headlights, parking lights and the dimming of the instrument panel lighting. If this switch fails, you will not be able to operate any of these lights. You can replace the switch with just a few basic tools.
Instructions
1 Remove the fog light switch from the dash housing. Use a small screwdriver and pry lightly at the edges of the switch housing. Be careful not to scratch the plastic housing that surrounds the switch. Once the switch is free, unplug it and set it aside.
2 Access the release knob located on the bottom of the headlight switch by reaching through the fog light switch opening.
3 Press the release button and pull the headlight switch knob and shaft toward you. It should release, allowing you to remove it.
4 Remove the retaining nut that holds the switch in place using a pair of long needle nose pliers.
5 Remove the cosmetic housing by pulling carefully toward you. Plastic tabs on the rear of the housing keep it in place and should release with light pressure.
6 Pull the headlight switch out to access the plug. Using a small screwdriver, press the release tab on the connector and unplug the switch.
7 Remove the old switch and plug in the new switch. Push the new switch back into place.
8 Replace the cosmetic housing. Attach the retaining nut to the headlight switch before pushing the housing into final position. Tighten the retaining nut with the long needle nose pliers. This will secure the headlight switch to the housing.
9 Insert the headlight knob and shaft into the new headlight switch. There is no need to press the release button because the switch is spring loaded. Replace the fog light switch to complete reassembly.

The 1993 Chevrolet Camaro is a fourth-generation Camaro, which includes the 1993 through 2002 models. The Z28 performance package for these vehicles includes an LT1 engine, which has eight cylinders and a displacement of 5.7 liters. The LT1 engine in a 1993 Camaro has a harmonic balancer, or crankshaft balancer, to reduce the harmonic vibrations that occur when the crankshaft spins rapidly. The crankshaft balancer on the LT1 engine is a weight on the crankshaft hub.
Instructions
1 Remove the battery cable from the negative terminal with a socket wrench to avoid starting the engine accidentally. Raise the vehicle on a floor jack, and support it safely on jack stands.
2 Disconnect the serpentine drive belt from the crankshaft pulley with a socket wrench.
3 Hold the hub of the crankshaft in place by using a straight piece of metal as a pry tool. Remove the retaining bolts from the hub with a socket wrench, and detach the crankshaft balancer from the crankshaft hub.
4 Mount the new crankshaft balancer onto the crankshaft hub, and fasten the retaining bolts for the crankshaft balancer. Hold the crankshaft hub in place with the pry tool, and tighten the retaining bolts for the crankshaft balancer to 63 foot-pounds with a torque wrench.
5 Mount the serpentine drive belt on the crankshaft pulley, and lower the vehicle with a floor jack. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
