You can install a windshield on your 1973 Camaro with the help of a friend. Chevrolet introduced the Camaro to North America in 1967 as a competitor to Fords Mustang. The windshield keeps the roof from collapsing during an accident. It also helps keep you from being thrown from the vehicle. To do this job, you need some supplies that can be found at most auto parts stores. To save money, call your local auto wrecking yard to see whether it has any 1973 Camaro windshields in good condition.
Instructions
1 Fit a gasket around the new windshield. Make sure the slit on the gasket will be facing the outside of the Camaro once the windshield has been installed.
2 Run a line of sealant along the half channel all around the gasket.
3 Wipe some petroleum jelly into the gaskets outer groove, adding some extra to the top and bottom center of the gasket. Line a nylon cord around the outer groove starting at the bottom center of the gasket. Leave a piece of cord at the start and end point.
4 Put on your work gloves, and have your helper put on work gloves. Together, put the windshield into the windshield frame from outside the vehicle. Push the nylon cords into the Camaro so they are resting on the dashboard.
5 Pull one cord out and around the frame to pull the gaskets lip inside the car. At the same time, have your helper press the gasket onto the outside edge of the windshield frame.
6 Allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours before driving.

You can remove the windshield from your 1995 Honda from your home garage and save yourself a little money. You may choose to remove the windshield if it has any cracks or chips in it. You should definitely remove the windshield if it has any cracks longer than six inches in length. To leave a damaged windshield in place is to compromise the safety of the passengers. It is a fairly simple task to remove a windshield, requiring a few inexpensive tools that can be purchased from any auto parts store.
Instructions
1 Put on protective goggles and thick work gloves.
2 Use the pry tool to pry up the seal around the entire perimeter of the Hondas windshield. Pull the seal off of the windshield with your hands and discard it.
3 Run a windshield wire knife tool around the entire edge of the windshield to cut the glass from the urethane glue.
4 Sit inside the Honda and push the windshield out. Go outside the car and remove the windshield and set it aside.
5 Scrape off the remaining urethane from the windshield opening with a utility knife.

Properly working windshield wipers are essential for safe driving. Wiper blades become worn over time, causing streaking, noises and vibrations. All of these problems can limit your visibility, making you less safe on the road.
Noise from your wiper blades can indicate a tear in the blades rubber. When blade rubber tears it is past time to replace your blades. Noise can also be produced if the motor arm is twisted.
Wiper blades that vibrate across the windshield have either been improperly mounted or the rubber on the blade is too worn. If the rubber looks good, you may need to remount the entire blade to guarantee it is installed properly.
If you cannot get your windshield washer to work, first check to be sure you have plenty of fluid in the wiper fluid reservoir. The wiper fluid may also not function properly if a fuse is blown. Your car owners manual will tell you where to find the fuse box and which fuse to replace. Also check to be certain the sprayers which direct fluid to the windshield are not clogged with debris or dirt.
